I remember you
I remember that you have forgiven my sin
I remember that you freed me from the bondage of sin and death
I remember that I am one with you in your death so I no longer have to walk in sin
I remember the Promise of Life that you have given
Life is in the blood and sustained by that blood
Your blood is cleansing
Your blood is a peacemaker
I remember my love for my brethren through laying down my life
There is something in the calling to remember. Lest we should forget and doubt. Have you forgotten that you were cleansed? Have you forgotten that He died for you? Have you forgotten to love your brethren? Have we heeded the admonishment to discern the body, as the apostle Paul says, to discriminate against ourselves and think of others first? As Paul talks about to the Corinthians, we should remember the Lord not just in the form in which He broke the bread and passed the cup, but most importantly in what manner. He did not think of himself first and passed them to his brethren first. The Corinthians had made their meal "first come first served". Not Christ's manner at all.
Luke 13:29 They will come from the east and the west, from the north and the south, and sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And indeed there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last.”
(Matt 26:27-28, Mark 14:23-24, 1 Cor 10:16, 1 Cor 11:17-34 )

House Finch

Tell of the Savior's story
You do not sow but you reap from His hand
You do not keep a garden but you eat
Safe in the eye of God
Singing of wonderful things
Your given a voice to spread the news
Your notes tell of new life in Spring
Beautiful, beautiful bird
Show what God is to us
Ones who look for a mate
The other to feed and guard and keep safe

Radiant and Unashamed

When this body gives up the spirit
Will we young, will we be old
Will there be pain in this body when it dies
Will it happen when we slumber
Never to be another earthly morning wake.
Will we never die an earthly death
But meet him in the clouds for all the world to see
Wherefore comfort one another with these words sons of God
When we see Him we will be like Him
Radiant and unashamed, beholding His face in righteousness
Awakened and satisfied with His likeness
The King looking back at us is just like we will be
Holy without a spot, wrinkle, or blemish
Not a somber moment but glorious it will be
Dressed in His finest, rejoicing with gladness
My beloved and His bride…

Koinonia
defined as: to share one's life and possessions
with another person based on a common relation to God through the Spirit of God

1 John 1:1-4 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have koinonia (fellowship)with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
